OVERLAYS (L) — turn map feeds on/off: Air Tracks, Maritime AIS, Sensors, Fusion, NOTAMs, Weather, Fires, etc.
LINKS — cross-domain links when air + sea + cyber + weather sensors cluster on the same incident
KILL CHAIN (K) — open the DETECT→COUNTER-FIRE execution panel
FUSION — sensor fusion confidence overlay
FIT ALL (F) — zoom map to fit all active tracks
FILTER — filter tracks by priority level and type
AO — set Area of Operations for alert scoping. Type natural language (e.g. "Middle East", "Baghdad", "CENTCOM") or select a preset COCOM/region. Only tracks inside your AO will generate alerts. Custom lat/lng boundaries supported.
MEASURE (M) — range/bearing tool. Click two points on the map to get distance in km/nm and true bearing. Esc to cancel.
AI — open the ATLAS AI Tactical Advisor with full COP awareness
BOTTOM CONTROLS
LL / MGRS toggle — small button next to the cursor coords. Click to switch between decimal lat/lon and MGRS (1m precision). Preference is saved per-browser.
ORGANIC / NETWORK / TACTICAL (1 / 2 / 3) — preset layer configurations for different operating modes
REALITY SYNC bar — report gaps between what you see and what the platform shows
KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS
F — Fit map to all tracks. L — Layers. K — Kill Chain. M — Measure tool.
G — Symbology Legend. T — Tracks tab. ? — This help. 1 / 2 / 3 — Mode cycle.
Esc — Close any open panel and exit measure mode.
Shortcuts disabled while typing into any text field, AO box, or chat input.
MAP INTERACTION
Click any aircraft icon to view full threat assessment and track details
Hover over the map to see coordinates in the bottom bar (toggle LL ↔ MGRS)
Tracks show a forward heading vector and a dashed breadcrumb trail of the last ~60 seconds
A short audible chime fires when a new CRITICAL or HIGH track enters your AO (single tone = HIGH, double pip = CRITICAL; throttled to one chime per 4s; first user click unlocks audio)
Use scroll wheel or +/- to zoom, drag to pan
CLASSIFICATION RIBBON
The top + bottom green UNCLASSIFIED bands are the doctrine-required marking (DoDM 5200.01-V2). They appear on every page and are driven by the ATLAS_CLASSIFICATION environment variable. Higher classifications (CUI/FOUO purple, Confidential blue, Secret red, TS orange, TS//SCI yellow) are wired and ready to flip per deployment.

will execute real Mode 4/5 IFF challenges via Link 16/SADL datalinks, pull
SIGINT/ELINT correlations from national-level feeds, auto-query
MIDB/M-SPACE for entity resolution, and push threat alerts directly to
JADOCS/GCCS-J for fires coordination. Countermeasure recommendations will
incorporate real-time EW order of battle and available organic/joint assets.
